Ethan Heben

Ethan Heben is an experienced corporate attorney practicing in mergers and acquisitions, as well as general corporate law, including contract drafting and negotiation. Mr. Heben has represented investment banks, private equity firms, commercial banks and various corporate and institutional actors, including in the communications, infrastructure and space industries in their various roles and in a variety of contexts, including financings, public offerings, financial restructurings and reorganizations and general corporate and strategic activities, and he brings expertise in handling contracts involving cutting-edge technologies, including AI and crypto. He has a strong background in advising clients on economic sanctions, export controls, anti-corruption, and national security risks in international strategy and dealings. Mr. Heben has also participated in investigations involving maritime casualties.

Before transitioning to private practice, Mr. Heben served as a law clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. His prior experience includes service in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Heben graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2020, where he held positions on the managing board and served as strategy editor for the Virginia Tax Review. He also holds an M.B.A. from the College of William and Mary and a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy.
