PHILADELPHIA, April 20, 2015—Duane Morris LLP is pleased to announce that it has been named one of the Yale Law Women's 2015 Top Ten Family Friendly Firms. The annual survey of Vault 100 law firms by Yale Law Women identifies the law firms whose family-friendly policies on billable hour requirements, part-time and flexible schedules, parental leave and childcare availability are effecting much-needed change in the legal profession.
In addition to being ranked in the top 10 of all firms surveyed, Duane Morris also earned Category Honors for "demonstrated superior performance" in the categories of Part-Time and Flex-Time: Highest Percentage of Associates on Part-Time Schedules; Part-Time and Flex-Time: Highest Percentage of Attorneys Promoted to Partner in 2014 Who Have Worked Part-Time or Flexible Full-Time Schedules; and Gender Equity: At Least 50% of Attorneys Promoted to Partner in 2014 Were Women.
This latest accolade reflects the firm's commitment to fostering a supportive environment that allows our attorneys to have both career and family, instead of having to choose between the two. With the Duane Morris Women's Initiative guiding the firm's efforts to hire, retain and develop women lawyers into leaders, Duane Morris has earned widespread industry recognition. Working Mother and Flex-Time Lawyers consistently rank Duane Morris as one of the 50 Best Law Firms for Women. In 2014, the firm was included in The American Lawyer's Women Partner Watch Honor Roll, identifying Duane Morris as one of only 20 law firms among the AmLaw 200 whose new partner classes were at least 30-percent women in each of the past three years.
The 2015 Yale Law Women's 2015 Top Ten Family Friendly Firms List will be publicized at Yale and other law schools, and is available on the Yale Law Women website.
