Brian D. Siff is a litigator and legal counselor who guides clients through matters involving intellectual property—including issues involving patent, trademark, trade dress, trade secret, copyright and unfair competition law. He is regarded as a well-established and trusted adviser with a comprehensive understanding of the legal, technical and commercial elements of his clients' enterprises.
His extensive experience includes: litigating and enforcing intellectual property rights; managing large-scale patent and trademark portfolios including advising on all aspects of patent and trademark prosecution; developing management strategies for large U.S. and European companies that wish to reduce the prospect of infringement issues as a preventive measure to avoid costly litigation; building strategies for maximizing the value of his clients' intellectual property; and managing patent review processes under the America Invents Act, including inter partes review, covered business method review, and post-grant review proceedings.
Mr. Siff has vast experience in and a deep understanding of a wide range of industries including consumer goods (toys, sports/health/fitness, housewares, apparel), artificial intelligence (AI), aircraft, automotive, medical devices, telecommunications, Internet/e-commerce, finance, investment services, banking, auction and cannabis.
