Holly Engelmann, P.C. is a results-oriented and client-focused litigation and trial attorney with nearly 20 years of experience handling complex litigation. Holly’s practice focuses on litigation, particularly patent litigation, but also extending to complex commercial litigation, residential mortgage-backed securities litigation, insurance recovery, and bankruptcy. With clients drawn from the ranks of industry leaders and private equity firms, she has amassed substantial experience managing high-stakes litigation from client inception through verdict and settlement.
Holly also served as in-house legal counsel while on secondment at Ericsson, working with that company’s patent assertion and litigation groups. In that capacity, she managed internal business and legal aspects of preparing for and participating in multifront patent litigation in federal district court and the ITC related to Ericsson’s wireless technologies.
Holly is a graduate of Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law, where she was an editor of the Southern Methodist University Law Review, inductee to The Order of Barristers, and Best Advocate of the Year award recipient. During law school, Holly interned for Justice Craig T. Enoch of the Supreme Court of Texas, and Justice David W. Chew of the Eighth Court of Appeals of Texas, and served as Ticketmaster’s first legal intern.
Holly is a Steering Committee Member of the Duane Morris Women’s Impact Network for Success (“WINS”), WINS Programming Chair (Dallas office), and Steering Committee Member of the Duane Morris Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion 2022 Retreat.
Prior to law school, Holly taught high school mathematics and served as the cheerleading coach and class advisor at John Glenn High School in Norwalk, California.
Holly earned a B.A. in mathematics from Whittier College while also serving as the Sports Editor of The Quaker Campus School Paper and was a player and captain of the basketball team.
