Ray L. Wong practices in the area of litigation with a focus on a variety of business litigation, including insurance coverage, bad faith and extracontractual claims, employment and other complex civil litigation. He has practiced for more than 45 years in courts throughout California and the United States, representing individual and corporate clients in all facets of civil litigation. Mr. Wong also has served as a mediator and arbitrator, and has testified as an expert consultant and witness in civil litigation.

He is a Fellow with the American College of Coverage and Extracontractual Counsel and a long-time member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel. Mr. Wong speaks extensively on a variety of litigation and insurance issues in forums throughout the United States. He has served as co-vice chair of the American Bar Association's Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee of the Litigation Section, and he previously served as co-chair of the Diversity Committee and co-chair of the ADR/Mediation subcommittee. Mr. Wong also served as co-vice-chair of the Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee's annual meeting in 2007 and co-chair of the 2008 meeting. In 2006 through 2023, Mr. Wong was listed in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business. He also was listed in Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers, and was also listed as a Top Rated Lawyer in Insurance Law by American Lawyer Media and Martindale-Hubbell in 2013 and 2014.

Mr. Wong has been trained and is a certified mediator. Mr. Wong has been selected to serve as a Mediator and an Early Neutral Evaluator for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and serves on the ADR panels of other California state courts in the San Francisco bay area.

Admitted to practice law in the States of California, Idaho and Washington, Mr. Wong is a 1978 graduate of Harvard Law School and a graduate of the University of Utah, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
