Rosemarie DaSilva is co-chair of the Environmental Division of Duane Morris' Trial Practice Group. Ms. DaSilva’s practice focuses on all areas of environmental law, from regulatory compliance to complex litigation in both state and federal courts. Her three decades of complex multi-party litigation experience spans a full range of federal and state law including Superfund, RCRA, CERCLA, New York Navigation Law and the New Jersey Spill Act.
Ms. DaSilva advises clients throughout the country on complex environmental compliance issues and strategies to avoid or minimize liability under various environmental statutes. She also regularly works with experts in fields ranging from hydrogeology to forensic chemistry. She has successfully negotiated investigation, remediation and cost allocation matters. Ms. DaSilva leads Duane Morris’ team serving as National Coordinating Counsel to a Fortune 10 Energy Company.
Prior to joining Duane Morris, Ms. DaSilva was Chief Administrative Office of a medium-sized firm, where, in addition to a full legal docket, she handled human resources, employment, recruiting, work management and marketing.
Ms. DaSilva was the legal coordinator for the Jersey Battered Women’s Shelter Legal Advocacy Project, implementing legal training and supervision of more than 90 volunteer attorneys for the pro bono representation of battered women.
Ms. DaSilva is a 1990 graduate of Rutgers University School of Law—Camden and a graduate of Rutgers University, B.A. in Economics.
