Sandra A. Jeskie is an experienced litigator, arbitrator, mediator and special master to the courts in a variety of commercial business disputes and matters involving complex contractual issues, technology, software, intellectual property or information/data. Her practice of over 25 years includes commercial litigation, software litigation, privacy, information security, and information technology. Ms. Jeskie serves as a team lead for the Duane Morris Technology, Media & Telecom industry group, which includes data privacy, security and artificial intelligence/emerging technologies. She is an elected member of the American Law Institute (ALI) and served as President of the International Technology Law Association (ITechLaw). Privacy, Data Governance and Information Security. Regularly counseling in the complex areas of data privacy and information security, Ms. Jeskie helps clients navigate compliance regulatory and industry-specific issues, including but not limited to California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), TCPA and other federal and state laws. She also counsels on security risk assessments, investigations, ransomware attacks and security breach response. Leveraging a highly cultivated global network, Ms. Jeskie also works with multinational companies on global privacy and security compliance. AI, Information Technology and Emerging Technologies. Relying on her deep technical background, with a degree in computer science and 16 years' experience as a computer scientist, Ms. Jeskie advises clients in the emerging area of artificial intelligence and on a variety of information technology matters, including big data, e-commerce, online advertising and marketing campaigns. Commercial Litigation. Ms. Jeskie has been trial counsel in a large number of complex commercial litigation, technology and IP matters. She is a co-author of chapters in the acclaimed treatise Business and Commercial Litigation in Federal Courts, and The Woman Advocate. She is also the former Chair of the Business Law Section of the Bar Association.
Software Litigation and Licensing. Building on her deep technical background in the industry, Ms. Jeskie has represented clients in complex software litigation arising from software implementation failures and licensing disputes for both software developers and customers. She was trial counsel in one of the largest software implementation disputes when she represented Lockheed Martin in an action against the New York Mass Transit Authority relating to the installation of an electronic security system. Ms. Jeskie often performs early case assessments for clients on bet the company disputes. Relying on her software background, she is known for her ability to understand and translate the technical details of complex implementations. She also works with clients to negotiate software licenses and on project management issues during on-going software implementations.
Intellectual Property and Pharmaceutical Litigation. Ms. Jeskie has been a trusted advisor to companies in the pharmaceutical and other industries where she brought together multidisciplinary teams to protect intellectual property and handle general corporate needs.
International Work. Relying on her varied experience, Ms. Jeskie has advised international companies in various aspects of their business and has taught at nearly a hundred professional education conferences in numerous cities around the United States and in fourteen countries in Europe, Asia and South America. She has also been trained as an international arbitrator by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and ICDR and is a Fellow of CIArb.

- Johnson Matthey v. Research (S.D.N.Y.) - Represented plaintiff in complex pharmaceutical development, trade secret and licensing litigation. Settlement achieved that client found favorable.
- Harold v. Pill Pockets, Inc., et al. - Represented defendants, a manufacturer and distributor of a pet related products, in defending a broad intellectual property suit brought by the prior owner of a patent. Settlement achieved that client found favorable.
