PHILADELPHIA, September 30, 2025―Duane Morris was named a 2025 Law360 Pennsylvania Powerhouse. The Law360 Regional Powerhouse series recognizes law firms in 14 states that routinely represent clients in deals and cases in those states and that garnered national attention. Philadelphia managing partner James H. Steigerwald and Pittsburgh managing partner Kevin P. Allen were recently interviewed by Law360 for their Pennsylvania Powerhouse honor.
Allen discussed how the collegial and collaborative culture of the firm contributed to recent success in Pennsylvania:

Steigerwald commented, “Our appellate folks had one heck of a year in Pennsylvania. I don't think anyone does a better job than Rob Palumbos and Leah Mintz. That jury verdict was out of line with the evidence, and they convinced the judge to order a new trial. That was an enormous win for us.”
Other cases highlighted include the latest in an ongoing fracking dispute against client Expand Energy in which a team of Pittsburgh and Philadelphia attorneys argued for the dismissal from the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
