Dallas Managing Partner Randy Gordon told Law360 Pulse on Wednesday that the firm has been pleased with the success it has enjoyed in Dallas but believed Fort Worth merited a separate location. "The legal markets, business communities and economies in Fort Worth and Dallas are truly distinct," Gordon said. "The office affords our attorneys an opportunity to service their Fort Worth clients efficiently and to the highest standards."
Dallas-based partner John S. Polzer said he represents a wide range of clients in Fort Worth who would benefit from the second Duane Morris location in the area. "A year ago, Randy Gordon and I assembled a group of Fort Worth business, academic and political leaders to meet with Duane Morris CEO Matt Taylor. The comments from the attendees made clear there was a need for an international law firm to commit to Fort Worth," Polzer told Law360 Pulse on Wednesday. "The influx of companies moving to Tarrant County, plus the rich history of the region, made it an attractive place to grow."
